Trước khi lên đường thi Hoa Hậu Hoàn Vũ tại Mỹ vào tháng 5/2021, Hoa Hậu Nguyễn Trần Khánh Vân đã cùng DNXH LoveYourBody Việt Nam thực hiện chiến dịch “Vòng Tay An Toàn – Vòng Tay Yêu Thương” với bộ ảnh Mẹ – Con Gái và Áo dài. Chiến dịch được thực hiện với 100 cặp mẹ con trải khắp Việt Nam. 

Bà Nguyễn Yên Thảo – Giám Đốc Điều Hành OBV khẳng định: “Trong 2 năm qua, kể từ khi có Hoa Hậu Khánh Vân làm đại sứ, những hoạt động của chúng tôi trong việc giải cứu các con thực sự hiệu quả hơn, các cơ hội cho các con thoát khỏi bóng đen tâm lý và phát triển bản thân, định hướng nghề nghiệp từ những nhân vật nổi tiếng đã giúp tôi tự tin hơn về sứ mệnh của mình. Cơ duyên đưa Khánh Vân tới với nhà OBV cũng nhờ bà mai là Chủ nhiệm dự án LoveYourBody – Trương Ngọc Minh Đăng và chiến dịch lần này #LoveYourBody phối hợp cùng #OBV thực hiện đã được chúng tôi lên kế hoạch từ rất lâu, tuy nhiên, cả 2 chúng tôi đều muốn Khánh Vân trực tiếp tham gia các chuyến giải cứu để trưởng thành hơn, nhận thức sâu sắc về trách nhiệm, về vai trò của Khánh Vân trong chặng đường rất dài này”.

Nói về việc tham gia dự án LoveYourBody, Hoa Hậu Nguyễn Trần Khánh Vân tâm sự: “Tôi đã từng nhận nhiều chỉ trích vì sao nhiệm kỳ của tôi không có những hoạt động nhân ái hay những dự án sôi nổi nhưng thực sự việc tôi đang thực hiện cùng nhà OBV không thể công khai bởi tất cả chúng tôi đều phải giữ kín thông tin các em và đảm bảo các em thực sự bản lĩnh và có đủ niềm tin khi hòa nhập trở lại. Cá nhân tôi cũng mong muốn lan tỏa thông điệp về việc bảo vệ các em gái khỏi sự xâm hại tình dục tới những người cha, người mẹ thông qua việc định hướng giáo dục ngay từ nhỏ về việc biết tự tôn trọng và bảo vệ bản thân, dám phản kháng đối với trẻ em gái cũng như việc biết trân trọng và bảo vệ phụ nữ đối với trẻ em trai. Việc đồng hành cùng chiến dịch “Vòng Tay An Toàn – Vòng Tay Yêu Thương” của LoveYourBody chính là một cách tinh tế mà tôi cùng chị Minh Đăng và chị Yên Thảo hướng tới. Sau chiến dịch này, chúng tôi sẽ còn thực hiện thêm nhiều hoạt động hữu ích cho cộng đồng phụ huynh để hướng đến một xã hội an toàn và hạnh phúc cho phụ nữ và trẻ em.
